Intro

The strays need us, let’s join hands to help them!

If each one of us adopts a stray dog and feeds them everyday, we might be able to help them to a huge extent.
No, we are not asking you to let them stay in your house if you aren’t comfortable, we are just requesting you to give love and care to one of our street ‘raja’.

What Do You Have To Do?

What Do You Have To Do?

It's Really Simple.

  • Find a dog which lives in the road nearest to your house.
  • Name the dog and register the same with us.
  • Give the dog water and food everyday (milk, chapatis, left overs-anything will do).
  • If possible, give it a shady shelter (and if your affection grows, get it vaccinated, and adopt!)
  • Share the images of your beloved dog as it turns healthier and better on our Facebook community and let your love & care set an example for others!
  • Convince at least one of your neighbour to do the same.

It's all about seeing more Wagging Tails.

Adoption Stories

Spotty: The shy one

Little spotty was was rescued from being eaten by other stray dogs. Her mother had given birth to six puppies. Two of the newborn were shattered to pieces and eaten by fellow stray dogs. The mother wanted to save rest of her puppies so she took shelter, in a pit near my house.
The shrill cry of the family couldn't let me sleep.Early morning I went to render some help and tried to offer some water and biscuits to the mother. It became volatile and appeared quite sick. My father's friend, a vet was called for help.He came and declared that it is rabies infection.Within a day the mother and one of the puppies died.It was heartening to see the puppies yelling .I couldn't take them home because my pet dogs were too disturbed on seeing them and i feared they might kill.I remembered my sarita aunty and ran for her help.It hardly took any time to convince her.She readily agreed to adopt the puppy and even got the dog it’s and entire family vaccinated. She named it "Spotty".

Spotty!

Bonnie: A playful soul

That day when spotty got a family, the other puppy was left alone. It appeared like a frail piece of flesh about to die. I could not stand that site. My friend Inshaal was impressed with his physician whom he went frequently for treatment of chest infection and was very sure that he was an animal lover. We both gathered courage and went with the puppy in our arms.
Vivekan uncle opened the door listened carefully and agreed to adopt him. He had pet dogs many years back but after their death he had decided not to adopt a dog. But I think it was love at first site. He named it---Bonnie He ordered so many things from amazon for bonnie and even used nice diapers for it. Vivekan uncle is too fond of Bonnie. Together they make a wonderful family.

Puffy

A young playful stray bitch visited my house frequently for food and water. Suddenly she disappeared for few days. One morning she was at my doorstep looking ill. I could see she was pregnant. My team members had no clue what to do. Again Vivekan uncle came to our rescue. He carried the pregnant bitch in his car and arranged for her sonography. We were all mesmerized to see four small puppies playing inside her. Google was searched and all preparations made for emergency. A pit was dug in the backyard and covered with rugs. The frail bitch was kept there and feeded nicely. Vivekan uncle conducted the delivery and we were mere bystanders.
PUFFY a beautiful black bitch was the first to come out. Two more puppies came out but the last one was dead. Vivekan uncle decided to keep the mother and asked us to find home for puffy and rest of the two siblings. Mansi a 11th grade biology student responded immediately to our campaign. She had lost her golden retriever few months back. Puffy stole her heart immediately. Mansi and puffy are inseperable.
At 7months this is how our puffy looks.
